Ms. Burgstahler has held several leadership positions, including Director of Systems Development Division and Director of Embedded Communications and Sensors Business Area at Trident Systems Inc., Vice President of Technology at Comprehensive Contracting Services, LLC, and as a Senior Manager at Kellogg, Brown, and Root responsible for the implementation of procurement systems. Ms. Burgstahler earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University Northridge in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1985.
Director, Embedded Communications and Sensors, Trident Systems, VA
Ms. Burgstahler was responsible for the development of air-to-air, air-to-ground, and ground-to-ground communications and sensor systems. Her primary responsibilities included: business area financials (profit and loss), customer relationships, development and execution of business area strategic plan, identification of program requirements for each project, guidance of engineering implementation, and overall responsibility for all projects completion and delivery.
Ms. Burgstahler has spent her career analyzing, developing, and fielding, Radio Frequency (RF) and Communications sensors in radar, communications, and Electronic Warfare (EW) areas for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC). Her technical expertise as well as her extensive Project Management experience has allowed her to lead engineering teams consisting of major defense contractors and naval laboratories in the development of RF systems ranging from antennas, seekers, and overall RF systems analysis and modeling and simulations.

Ms. Burgstahler was responsible for the development of technology programs related to the Intelligence Community requirements. Her responsibilities included: company financials (profit and loss), customer relationships, and implementation of various projects for the Intelligence community.
Senior Manager, Kellogg, Brown and Root, VA
Ms. Burgstahler has also led the implementation of complex, multifaceted IT systems spanning multiple functional organization and multiple sites. She has evaluated and analyzed software, test and hardware requirements, evaluated system architecture designs, selected test and customer service software. Many of these systems were for major procurement organizations spanning over 32 different sites domestically and international.
Engineer and Project Manager
Ms. Burgstahler has worked as an engineer and a project manager leading the implementation of various RF and communication systems including system design, signal processing, data fusion, and algorithm development. During this time, she has developed a new approach for a time-to-intercept algorithm for an ultra-violet missile approach warning system and created baseline parameters for electronically scanned phase array antennas simulated ocean and weather models, and developed multiple signal processing algorithms.
Ms. Burgstahler has also supported National Oceanic and atmospheric administration on the task of preserving historical climate information as a Senior program manager with the responsibilities for earned value program management, software development management, system design and IT implementation for the total storage and management system, development and implementation of CMM and CMMI software processes, and guiding software development to CMM level 3.GET TO KNOW THE OTHER TEAM MEMBERS
